Transition to Sixth Form

• September to December – Attend one of our open evenings, visit our website, attend a careers interview in school, and think about your level 3 options 
• December – Complete application before 20th December deadline, discuss option choices with teachers and parents 
• January – Attend sixth form application meeting with sixth form pastoral team 
• March – Attend sixth form transition day to experience subject taster lessons 
• March to Jue – Focus on your GCSE exams 
• July – Attend final sixth form transition day to support progress towards level 3 expectations 
• August – Collect GCSE results and enrol on your new courses at Maghull High School Sixth Form College 
• September – Start new level 3 course
